THE ZHAI was founded in 2023 in Suzhou, China, starting as a small studio and growing into a diversified company dedicated to craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

2025

THE ZHAI officially launched its global website, THEZHAICHINA.COM, marking a new chapter in brand development. The brand began expanding its international marketing efforts, reaching audiences across Europe, Asia, and North America.

THE ZHAI expanded its artisan collaboration network across China, partnering with master craftspeople from Suzhou, Jingdezhen, and other heritage-rich regions. This year marked a turning point in product diversification, as the brand introduced new lines of décor that fuse traditional techniques with contemporary design.
